Michelle Truong, M.P.H., is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Health Policy & Management in the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on child and adolescent access and utilization of mental health services and the distribution and diversity of the mental and behavioral health workforce. Her work aims to reduce unmet needs by identifying strategies to effectively engage children and families in all phases of mental health care. Michelle received a BS in Public Health Science at the University of Maryland and a Master in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from George Washington University.
