Ji Chang, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Public Health Policy and Management at the New York University School of Global Public Health. Dr. Chang is an equity-focused health services researcher and educator who uses mixed-methods research designs to demonstrate disparities in access to care among underserved populations and highlight barriers faced by safety net providers in implementing evidence-based care. Dr. Chang is the principal investigator of the NYC AI For Health Equity Initiative, a multi-sector partnership to reduce cardiovascular health disparities. Her work has been published in leading medical and health services research outlets including the New England Journal of Medicine and Milbank Quarterly. Dr. Chang received a Ph.D. in Public Administration from New York University, an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Melon University, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
