Jasmin is the Sustainability Program Manager for Johnson County, Kansas Government. She guides county initiatives promoting responsible management of resources to meet the environmental, economic, and human needs of today and for generations to come. These initiatives range from energy efficiency to eliminating health inequities, and everything in between. Jasmin currently serves on the Mid-America Regional Council’s Sustainable Places Policy Committee and the U.S. Green Building Council-Central Plains Market Leadership Advisory Board. She previously led the development of a regional sustainability agenda for Central Arkansas, and served on the Arkansas Coalition for Obesity Prevention and Little Rock Sustainability Commission. Jasmin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, holds a Master of Science Degree in Community & Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas.
