Daniel is the Director of Government Data and Analytics at the Health Care Cost Institute where he focuses on price and utilization in the Medicare and Medicaid programs; he also manages the organization’s state APCD portfolio. Prior to joining HCCI, Daniel worked at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics where he managed and lead analytics on fee-for-service claims data and the post-acute care quality assessment data. Daniel has also worked on research in care delivery at the Visiting Nurse Service and at Massachusetts General Hospital, with a focus on evaluation and outcomes research. Daniel received an MPH in health policy from the Boston University School of Public Health and bachelor’s degrees in human biology and history from the University of California, San Diego.
