Brocha Stern is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Population Health Science and Policy and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Initially trained as an occupational therapist and qualitative researcher, her current interdisciplinary work emphasizes the use of observational data to examine perioperative care processes and outcomes across orthopaedic surgery subspecialties. She has particular interest in the role of clinical applications of patient-reported outcome measures to support person-centered and equitable care.
