This year’s National Health Policy Conference (NHPC) will be co-located with the annual Health Datapalooza convening. Both events will be held February 10-11, 2020 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC.

The co-location creates exciting, potential synergies between each event. Co-locating NHPC with the Health Datapalooza recognizes that health data innovation is now an integral part of all efforts to transform health care and will benefit from bringing new voices and perspectives from the policy world into the broader community of Health Datapalooza. Co-location also recognizes the Health Datapalooza’s traditional emphasis on the ways federal and state policy and regulatory bodies generate, hold, use, govern and release data. There’s much the communities can learn from one another.

What Does Co-Location Mean?

Both the National Health Policy Conference and the Health Datapalooza remain two separate, independent conferences. This means that each event will have its own distinct program featuring main stage plenaries, breakout sessions, awards, and more. However, each conference will take place on the same date and in the same venue.

How Do You Benefit From Co-Location With The Health Datapalooza

As a registrant of either event, you will be able to move freely between each event (if you choose) - picking and choosing relevant sessions to attend.

  • Learn from leading professionals about the newest and most innovative uses of health data that are improving health care delivery.
  • Gain meaningful insights from data experts into how regulation and policy decisions impact the use of data to improve health care.
  • Explore opportunities where your policy work can unleash more information - leading to more innovation in the health care industry.

To harness the synergies of the two communities, we’ll be offering a limited set of joint events spanning the two days, providing more engagement opportunities and discussions with participants “across the hall.”
