Rate Descriptions


Member

To qualify for the member rate, you must be an AcademyHealth member in good standing. If you are not an member and would like to take advantage of the reduced member rate, join AcademyHealth.

Organizational Affiliate Member

AcademyHealth organizational affiliates receive discounted rates for up to 5 individual registrants for affiliates, 10 registrants for supporting affiliates, and 15 registrants for contributing affiliates. To register online, select the individual, non-member rate, and apply your organizational affiliate discount code to receive the organizational affiliate rate. Or, please email or fax the Organizational Affiliate Registration Form to registrations@academyhealth.org.

Government

Government employees must register using their .gov email address. To qualify for the government agency rate, you must be employed by a federal, state, or local government agency (not valid for government funded or government-sponsored organizations/universities).

Registration Fee

Registrations will not be processed without proper payment. Read the registration payment policy. AcademyHealth Tax ID Number: 52-1260918

Receipts and Confirmations

Detailed receipts are available upon request. If you would like one, please send a request to registrations@academyhealth.org. Payment receipts will be sent to the email address provided on the registration form.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received in writing or email by Monday, January 7 in order to receive a refund, less a $100 processing charge for the NHPC or a $50 processing charge for the APHA Policy Action Institute adjunct. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after January 7. Registration fees for cancelled registrants may not be applied to future AcademyHealth meetings, nor will refunds be issued due to inclement weather.

Substitutions

All substitutions will be assessed a $50 processing fee. Substitutions will be accepted only once per registrant and must include written notification from the original registrant and a completed registration form for the substitute participant. If a non-member substitutes for a member, the non-member rate applies. Requests should be sent to registrations@academyhealth.org.

Special Needs

Persons with disabilities or special needs should indicate any special requests during the online registration process or on the registration form, or send a description of any services needed to specialneeds@academyhealth.org.

Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, the National Health Policy Conference will not be cancelled unless the Marriott Marquis closes. AcademyHealth is unable to issue refunds for cancellations due to weather.

Photo and Video Release

From time to time we use photographs or video of conference participants in our promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance at the 2019 NHPC, AcademyHealth reserves the right to use your likeness in such materials.
