Alyna Chien, M.D., M.S.

Alyna Chien, MD, MS, is a practicing pediatrician and an Assistant Professor at Children’s Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School. She studies how payment policies and public reporting affect healthcare quality and spending, especially for vulnerable populations. Dr. Chien’s research has been supported by the Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the NIH’s National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities. She has also participated on national advisory committees for the National Academies of Medicine, NQF, and PCORI.
