Simmi Singh is an expert on governance and leadership development, counseling investors, founders, and boards on governance matters, board appointments, leadership development, and CEO successions.  She has a talent for helping companies to rapidly scale and maximize their potential as they transform, and she has worked in and with some of the most game-changing companies of the past two decades. Simmi has also built entire management teams for growing companies, helping also to transform the competitive and market position of her Fortune 100 clients. She works intensively within the public policy realm, as well as globally across the private sector, focusing on health-care services, technology, and disruptive digital businesses.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Simmi worked as an entrepreneur, operating leader, general manager, investor, and management consultant. Specific experiences include leading the restructuring and divestiture of multibillion-dollar corporate assets at CNA; crafting disruptive business models at Revolution Health and with her consulting clients at Booz Allen Hamilton and Ernst & Young; and leading the rapid, profitable scaling of two successful technology-services businesses, SeraNova and Cognizant.
Simmi earned a BSc in mathematics, physics and chemistry from St. Joseph's College and an MBA in management information-decision systems from Case Western Reserve University.

She has served as Senior Advisor on Health Innovation to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, as Vice-Chair and Chair of the former Center for Health Information Management (CHIM) Board, and as a Director on the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society Board. She is a sought after speaker and contributor globally on topics related to health, technology and policy at forums.  She has served as guest lecturer at the Yale School of Management Executive MBA Program and her written work has been published in MIT’s Sloan Management Review.  She serves on the Provost's International Visiting Committee at her alma mater, Case Western Reserve University.
