Sarah C. Blake is an Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Studies for the MPH and MSPH Programs in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH). Dr. Blake has over 20 years of health services research and program evaluation experience. Her work focuses on health disparities and access to care for low-income women and children. She leads several projects examining the role of reproductive health care policy in influencing maternal morbidity and mortality, and she currently serves on the Georgia Department of Public Health's Maternal Mortality Action Review Committee. Dr. Blake is an expert in Medicaid policy and serves as the evaluator for Georgia's Medicaid family planning expansion program. She is a current teaching fellow in the Woodruff Health Sciences Educators Academy, and she teaches women's health policy and mixed methods research at RSPH.  Dr. Blake is very excited to serve on the Advisory Committee for the AcademyHealth Gender Health Interest Group.
