Rowida Mohamed is a Ph.D. student in Health Services and Outcomes Research at School of Pharmacy, West Virginia University. She graduated from Alexandria University with a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences and completed her master’s degree in Biostatistics in 2015. Her dissertation work evaluated patient safety culture which is a core element of many efforts to improve patient safety and healthcare quality. Also, she has two professional certificates in hospital management and healthcare quality management. Prior to starting her Ph.D. program, she worked at Health Insurance Authority in Egypt as a quality manager. Her career experience includes managing hospital accreditation programs and running quality improvement projects. Rowida’s research interests include health policy and preventive research.
