Latarsha Chisholm, Ph.D., M.S.W. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Management & Informatics. Dr. Chisholm's research focuses on aging, disparities, and innovation implementation, with an emphasis on minority aging.  She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Florida in the Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy.  Dr. Chisholm has been successful in receiving federal, state, and university funding to examine quality issues among older adults, specifically in nursing homes. Dr. Chisholm uses primary and secondary data to answer pertinent questions related to minority aging. She has worked on intervention studies focused on quality improvement among long-term care residents. She continues to collaborate on research projects focused on older adults in long-term care settings.
