Katie Meyer is Senior Policy Advisor to House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy where she has been integral to the passage of two comprehensive laws to combat the opioid epidemic. Prior to serving in the Leader's office, Katie was the Deputy Health Policy Director of the Senate Finance Committee under Chairman Hatch. She has also worked for former Congressman Erik Paulsen of Minnesota where she led the House effort to repeal the medical device tax and expand access to Health Savings Accounts. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Katie earned her BA and MPP from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
