Health economist with specialization in strategic analysis, organisation, change management, business planning, innovation economy and digital technology applications. Graduated in Economy and social sciences in Leuven University (Belgium) and in LUISS International University of Rome. IT (International Teachers Program) in the London Business School. More than 30 years of experience in the consulting sector where he was: Partner in KPMG, with responsibility of the Public and Health sector for the Italian market, Managing Principal in IBM, head of the health consulting business for the European Market, Managing Director in Accenture, head of the health consulting business for Europe, Latin America and Middle East, Founder and Senior Partner of International consulting companies (Eurogroup Consulting Italy and CRS). He has also developed specific skills in the management of innovation companies as CEO of Lay Line Genomics (a spin-off from SISSA High School in Trieste), active in the research and drug discovery in the neurodegenerative and Central Nervous System diseases. He is currently Managing Director of VIHTALI (a spin-off of Catholic University in Rome), with focus on the health sector management, HTA for health technologies, Big Data analysis and value base studies. He is also a member of the Board of Toscana Life Sciences, a business incubator in the biotechnology sector. He has taught in several Universities and he is currently Professor in the Catholic University of Rome in Management and economic Sciences and Innovation Economy. Author of books and publications in the health and financial sector.
