Demographic trends point to a critical need for more and better research on aging-related health care issues in the United States. Several new resources are available to researchers interested in this field, particularly in the area of long-term care. This webinar features three of new national data sources: Long-term Care: Facts on Care in the US (LTCFocUS); the National Health and Aging Trends Survey (NHATS); and the National Survey of Residential Care Facilities (NSRCF). Presenters will discuss the content of each, potential linkages across data sets and over time, limitations, and how to access the data. Brief examples of research derived from each data set will be included.
