Pre-Conference Seminars and Interest Group Registration Only

If you would like to register for the pre-conference seminars or an interest group meeting only (and not the full ARM program) or you wish to add a seminar or IG meeting to your pre-existing ARM registration, please use this registration form. Indicate your selection and fax, email ([email protected]), or mail the form to AcademyHealth. Online registration cannot process adjunct or interest group only registration.

Registration Types

Below you will find information on the qualifications for specific registration types.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBER
Active members of AcademyHealth receive a discounted registration rate. Membership must be current at the time of the meeting. If your membership has expired or if you would like to become a member, you may renew or join when you register for the conference and receive the discount. If you have questions about membership, call Member Services at 202.292.6700.

AFFILIATE MEMBER ORGANIZATION
AcademyHealth organizational affiliates receive discounted rates for up to 5 individual registrants for affiliates, 10 registrants for supporting affiliates, and 15 registrants for contributing affiliates. Code can only be used to register those who are not currently individual members of AcademyHealth. Discounted rates only apply to the Annual Research Meeting. Non-member rates will apply to the Interest Group (IG) Pre-Conference Session registration.

To register online, select the individual, non-member rate, and apply your organizational affiliate discount code to receive the reduced rate. Or, please email the Organizational Affiliate Registration Form to [email protected].

NEW PROFESSIONAL
New professionals must be within one year of graduation from a master's or doctoral program. The individual must be a current new professional member or join AcademyHealth prior to registering for the ARM.

FELLOW
Fellows include clinical fellows and post-doctoral trainees appointed to positions granting a stipend and allowing for advanced study or research at an academic or training institution. Fellows do not include faculty appointments or regular job appointments. Individual must be a current fellow member or join AcademyHealth prior to registering for the ARM.

STUDENT
Students enrolled full-time at the time of the meeting are eligible for the reduced student rate. You must include documentation of full-time student status (e.g., legible copy of student ID with valid expiration date or letter from department/program head) with the registration form. Attendees enrolled in fellowship programs do not qualify for the student rate. Individual must be a current student member or join AcademyHealth prior to registering for the ARM.

SPEAKER
Any speaker giving a podium presentation at the meeting must be an individual member of AcademyHealth. If a speaker is not a member at the time of registration, he or she will be charged a higher non-member speaker rate that includes individual membership for one year.

The OPM has issued specific guidelines allowing individuals to accept complimentary association membership as part of a registration fee. Please visit the OPM page for more information.

Poster presenters are not eligible for the speaker rate and must register for the conference at their appropriate rate. Poster presenters are not required to be AcademyHealth members. MEDIA REGISTRATION
Registration for ARM is complimentary with valid media credentials. Please contact Lauren Adams, AcademyHealth’s Director of Communications and Public Relations, for details.

Confirmation Notices

Registration confirmations will be sent to the email address provided on the registration form. If you have any questions after you receive your confirmation, please call 202.292.6743 or email [email protected].

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received in writing by May 25, 2018 in order to receive a refund, less a $100 processing charge. The refund policy applies to the conference and the methods seminars. Interest Group meeting cancellations must be received by May 25, 2018 and will be assessed a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 25, 2018 or due to inclement weather. Registration fees for cancelled registrants may not be applied to future AcademyHealth meetings. Substitutions/Modifications

All substitutions and adjustments will be assessed a $50 processing fee. Substitutions will be accepted only once per registrant and must include written notification from the original registrant and a completed registration form for the substitute participant. If a non-member substitutes for a member, the non-member rate will apply and the difference must be paid prior to the conference or on-site. Substitutions can be made at any time up and through the meeting.

Special Needs

Persons with disabilities or special needs, including any type of food restriction or allergy (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, kosher, gluten free), should indicate that request during the online registration process or on the registration form, or send a description of any services needed to [email protected] by Monday, May 28.
