Overview

The Health Workforce Interest Group focuses on health services research related to the health workforce. The Group focuses on issues of interest to researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and other interested individuals. Topics include: the relationship between workforce and access; quality and cost; data collection and analysis; sources and quality of health workforce data; methods of measuring supply, demand, and need; distribution; diversity; and policy and program information. In addition to engaging in a dialogue on workforce issues, the Group disseminates workforce-related information and provides opportunities for networking around this critical area as it relates to health services research, policy, and practice.
