2008 PHSR IG Annual Meeting: June 7, Washington, DC
The PHSR IG held its 2008 annual meeting on June 7 in conjunction with the 2008 Annual Research Meeting (ARM).

• Fifteen presentations were made during five sessions.
• The 2008 PHSR Article of the Year Award was presented
• Nine Student Scholarships were awarded

2007 PHSR IG Annual Meeting: June 2, Orlando
The 2007 PHSR IG meeting was a big success!

• Eleven presentations were made during three Call for Papers sessions.
• CDC gave an overview of their new role and commitment to PHSR.
• Seven student scholarships were awarded.
• The 2007 PHSR Article of the Year Award was presented.

2008 PHSR IG Breakfast at National Health Policy Conference: February 5, Washington, DC
The PHSR breakfast, Changing the Paradigm from Sickness to Prevention: A Public Health Call to Action, was held on Tuesday February 5 from 7:30am- 8:45am, and was a great success with interesting presentations and a stimulating discussion.  Thank you to all those who attended, and we hope to see you at this event next year!
