Application Process

To apply, please provide:

• A detailed letter describing your reasons for applying and interest in attending two specific site-visits of your choice:
  • Improving Patient Safety in the Hospital Setting:
    Are Patients Safer?;
  • Blank Slate: Rebuilding a Health System; and/or
  • The Use of Electronic Health Records and Health Information Technology to Improve Quality and Efficiency
• A curriculum vitae or resume; and
• One or more letters of support from other professionals familiar with your work, including a letter from your current supervisor in support of the application.

In addition, to facilitate your employer's approval of your participation, you should discuss in your letter the benefits your agency, committee, or office will accrue because of your participation in Health Policy in Action!
