How to Use the Curriculum

Instructions for the Presenter:
The module is designed to engage the user through a participatory group discussion and includes "ready to use" materials that can be modified for different classroom applications and degree program levels. Students should be instructed to:

1. Review hypothetical situations.

   Hypothetical 3 - The Peer Reviewer
   
2. Prepare short written responses to discussion questions.

3. Review Academy Health's Ethical Guidelines Managing Conflicts of Interest in Health Services Research.
   
4. Critique their written responses to determine if responses would change having reviewed the ethical guidelines.
   
5. Revise written responses accordingly.
   
6. Discuss hypothetical situations and responses in facilitated class discussion.
   
7. Complete curriculum evaluation. Your feedback is very important and will help us continually improve the module. The evaluation also may be printed and used by faculty and other users of the module to assess its effectiveness.
