2009 ARM: Adjunct & IG Meetings
Recognizing the added value that external groups bring to the Annual Research Meeting (ARM) by scheduling their meetings in conjunction with the ARM, AcademyHealth reserved a block of meeting rooms at the Hilton Chicago for affiliate groups to host their meetings. Seminars in Health Services Research Methods
AcademyHealth offered five health services research methods seminars in conjunction with the Annual Research Meeting in Chicago. These pre-conference sessions are ideal for both new and experienced researchers who want to enhance their skills in research methodologies.

Planning an Adjunct Meeting
Adjunct meetings range in size (5 to 250 people) and scope (board meetings to annual conferences). While some meetings are open to all Annual Research Meeting participants, others are by invitation only or require separate registration. About 54 percent of attendees at the 2008 ARM attended at least one adjunct meeting.
