Approximately 200 child health services researchers and policy professionals attended the Fifth Annual Child Health Services Research Meeting: What Works in Child Health Services Research held on June 26, 2003, at Gaylord Opryland, Nashville, TN. The 2003 meeting celebrated the fifth anniversary of this gathering of child health researchers and policy professionals to learn about new research in child health services, to discuss critical health policy issues for children, to develop skills in research methods, and to network with colleagues. The 2003 meeting featured approximately fifty faculty, who presented in a variety of plenary and breakout sessions.
