The Ph.D. in Health Policy, awarded by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, is a collaborative program of five Harvard University faculties: the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Public Health, the Medical School, the John F. Kennedy School of Government, and the Harvard Business School. Because this is an interfaculty program, enrolled students take courses throughout the university. Enrolled students must concentrate in one of seven academic disciplines including: management, medical sociology, or political analysis. Harvard also offers two combined programs: M.D./Ph.D. in Health Policy and J.D./Ph.D. in Health Policy. The deadline for applying to the Ph.D. program is mid-December.
