Jennifer Tsai, M.P.H. Jennifer Tsai is an Associate at AcademyHealth. She works on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, DHHS, Knowledge Transfer (KT) Program to develop integrated "knowledge transfer" strategies that increase the uptake and use of health services research findings by state and local officials, health care purchasers, and health systems leaders. Her work focuses primarily on the DHHS Hispanic Elders Project, Improving Hispanic Elders' Health: Community Partnerships for Evidence-Based Solutions. Prior to joining AcademyHealth in October 2007, Ms. Tsai was a Public Health Fellow through the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH) working at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in Rockville, MD, and at DHHS in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), in Washington, D.C. Working on a variety of programs related to healthcare workforce development and emergency preparedness, she developed a comprehensive understanding of policy development, program management, and federal government processes in public health programs for the nation's underinsured/uninsured, vulnerable populations.
