Kerry McDermott, M.P.H., is Vice President of Public Policy and Communications for the Center for Medical Interoperability, a 501(c)(3) organization led by health systems to change how medical technologies work together. With 15 years of experience in health care, her priorities have included advancing interoperability, catalyzing a connected health ecosystem to improve individual and population health, and transforming care processes through use of enabling technologies. Prior to joining C4MI, Kerry was Senior Director, Healthcare Technology Policy for West Health and helped launch the West Health Policy Center. She served as the director of healthcare for the Federal Communications Commission and has held strategy positions at CIGNA HealthCare.
