Mr. Richardson is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Michigan who is using the skills of decision science, mathematical modeling, and data mining to evaluate and identify patterns, preferences, and programs that prevent suicide and help those experiencing grief.  He currently works part-time as a Research Health Science Specialist in the Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention at the Veterans Health Administration studying suicide and evaluating efforts to reduce suicide among Veterans. His dissertation is on the economic and health-related quality of life impacts of grief in the US. He will be graduating from his program in April 2018.
