Ms. Olmstead dedicates her energy to helping healthcare organizations pursue both innovation and operational excellence. In service to these organizations, Jill is recognized for forging unique collaborations and dynamic teams that offer a 360-degree perspective of what is possible. A Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Sector LLP (PwC), Ms. Olmstead leads the Public Sector Health & Benefits Practice, which serves Federal health agencies. In this role, she oversees the delivery of healthcare, management and technology consulting services to the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Military Health System (MHS) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).     Ms. Olmstead’s efforts have focused on helping civilian health agencies develop organizations, define strategy and take on new initiatives in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. She brings the best of these services by marshaling the resources of PwC, which include industry experts dedicated to payers, providers, life sciences and health IT as well as a full complement of management consulting professionals. She lends her expertise and health industry perspective as a member of the AcademyHealth Corporate Council. Described as “big picture oriented” and having the “energy to make a difference with her client,” Ms. Olmstead enjoys the challenges of serving complex client organizations. Her past clients include the Military Health System (MHS) and the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA).  Ms. Olmstead received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, after which she enjoyed a career working on Capitol Hill.
