Bridget Gaglio, M.P.H., Ph.D., is a Senior Program Officer for the Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science program at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, she facilitates research initiatives aimed at improving communication and dissemination of evidence-based information among patients and their healthcare providers.

Before joining PCORI, she was a research scientist at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States. Her work there focused on patient-centered communication during cancer care. She also has extensive experience in qualitative data collection and analysis, and in dissemination and implementation science. She has published on patient-centered communication during cancer care, health literacy, evaluation, and dissemination and implementation of health interventions.

Dr. Gaglio received a MPH with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health, and a PhD in health and behavioral sciences from the University of Colorado-Denver.
