Emily Beuhler
Research Assistant

Ms. Beuhler is a research assistant with AcademyHealth's Knowledge Transfer program, funded by contract with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Her duties include providing research and programmatic assistance to health services research users; supporting workshops and small group consultations for policymakers; and assisting in the translation and dissemination of AHRQ research.

Prior to joining AcademyHealth in January 2007, Ms. Beuhler interned with the American Enterprise Institute's Health Policy Studies Program. In summer 2006 she consulted with the Frontier Centre for Public Policy on their EuroHealth Consumer Index. She has also worked as a research assistant with Reform, the London-based public policy think tank; she is a co-author of Reform's December 2005 report, NHS in 2010: reform or bust. Ms. Beuhler is currently pursuing a master's degree in applied economics at Johns Hopkins University. She holds a Certificate in Political Studies from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques at Grenoble and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.
