Professional Development Catalog

AcademyHealth provides educational opportunities for the community of health services researchers, policymakers, and practitioners. Seminars are available on-demand, as live webinars, and special events. Some are offered free to members while others require an enrollment fee.

The AcademyHealth Professional Development Catalog provides a detailed listing of currently available and upcoming seminars led by experts in the field. The following types of seminars are offered:

Methods - methods seminars are offered at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Professional Skill-building - presentations include guidelines and helpful tips on skill-building for professionals in the field, including developing messages for policymakers.
Policy Topics - seminars on policy areas of interest to the field.

Online learning from AcademyHealth is delivered in two ways:

Most of these seminars are available on-demand from the AcademyHealth website and are streamed directly to your computer. On-demand seminars are designed to facilitate self-paced learning and may be accessed as often as you would like for 90 days from the date of purchase. For an example of the technology used, please see the free presentation Research Resources for HSR.
AcademyHealth webinars are scheduled for a specific day and time and include a live question and answer session. Advance registration is required.
