Building Bridges: 2010 Policy SeminarMarch 23 | JW Marriott, Washington, D.C.Join key policymakers and researchers for a dialogue about long-term care financing reform. Howard Gleckman of the Urban Institute discussed highlights from his paper, "Long-Term Care Financing Reform: Lessons from the U.S. and Abroad," and highlight policy issues and potential solutions to financing reform in the United States. Following Mr. Gleckman's presentation, a panel discussion, featuring Richard Frank, Ph.D., deputy assistant secretary for policy and evaluation in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and Rhonda Richards, senior legislative representative for the federal health and long-term care team for AARP, provided further insight, potential lessons from abroad, and potential policy recommendations for financing long-term care.
